sour grapes （酸っぱいブドウ）は、熟したうまそうなブドウが欲しかったのに、どうしても届かないので、あきらめて「どうせ酸っぱいんだから」と負け惜しみを言って去った、イソップ童話の「キツネとブドウ」から。
自分の手の届かないものを「つまらない」と馬鹿にするフリをする人、いるよね。
